My name is Sally Sommerville, and I am a qualified acupuncturist with a deep commitment to holistic, person-centred care. I trained at the School of Scientific Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture (SSOMA) in Tunbridge Wells under Dr Daniel Keown, formerly a doctor in Emergency Medicine, and author of the Amazon Bestseller Spark in the Machine as well as The Uncharted Body. This has provided me with a solid foundation of Classical Chinese Medicine blended with ethical practice and modern Western science.

I am a member of the Acupuncture Association (MAA) and a registrant of the Acupuncture Regulatory Authority (ARA)

In addition to clinics in East Grinstead and Ashurst Wood, I am an Associate at The Acupuncture Hospital in Tunbridge Wells.

Before training in acupuncture, I spent many years working in a public-facing role as an administrator in the education sector, supporting staff, children and their families. Through this experience, I became increasingly aware of the importance of good health and the profound connection between mind, body, and spirit—an aspect of health that is often overlooked in contemporary medicine.

I believe that true wellness goes beyond simply managing symptoms. Acupuncture offers a powerful, holistic approach to healing, and it has given me the tools to continue serving my local community in a meaningful and transformative way.
